We are sad as a family to announce the death of our brother James (Mak) Anthony O’Rourke, of London, after a brief illness on August 29, 2023, in his 60th year. James passed surrounded by his brothers and sisters in Parkwood Hospital. Beloved brother to Doug O’Rourke (Josie), John O’Rourke (Lori predeceased), Gary O’Rourke, Wayne O’Rourke (Predeceased). MaryAnn Bowen (Columb McMenamin), Carol O’Rourke, Barb Catunto (Dan), Deborah Johnston (Dave) and Howard Fisher. He will be sadly missed by his 10 nieces and nephews. James was predeceased by his nephew Jeremy O’Rourke and niece Michelle O’Rourke, his parents Ruth Fisher (O’Rourke and Gordon O’Rourke as well as grandparents Gordon and Sidonia McKeever and James and Catherine O’Rourke. A funeral service for James will be held on Tues September 5, 2023 at Needham Funeral Service (520 Dundas St) at 1 pm with visitation 1 hour prior to the service. Interment to follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery.
