We would like to extend our sympathy to Hans family. Hans was a good friend of ours. We have many memories of card nights and after work visits. He always had a story to tell. Hans was a mentor to Kyle and a generous boss. We will think of him often and with a smile So sad to know you are gone. I will look for your star when I need a smile

We have lost a partner, father, brother, family member and best friend. We have lost a special person who always gave his advice and ideas in a thoughtfelt manner, would light up a room with his jokes and laughter, and left his skills as a masonary contractor throughout the area. Hans was one-of-a-kind, and even though he is gone, he will never be forgotten as we treasure our memories of him.  Rest in peace.  Helen and Cliff Copeland

The world lost an amazing human...the man that motivated me to get into the trades and who's approval was so important to me. Uncle Hans was just like my Opa and was the hardest working man I ever knew.  Even when on vacation to visit us he would end up re-tiling something to help my mom out haha. I remember he gave me my first $50 bill which was a good fortune for me haha.  You can finally rest easy uncle, love you

Hans was so special to me, my family and my daycare kids.  He would come for visits with coffee and timbits, get the kids wound up and then say "time to go" as he went out the door with a laugh. It would take me an hour to get the kids calmed down! I miss those days and I'll always miss him.  Rest easy Hans

Hans was a loving father in law to me, and loving Opa to my son Justin.  I will cherish the memories we had together. He will be truly missed.

Hans was a stand up guy... a man's man, but with a big heart! He had a passion for his family and was a very hard worker who took pride in his craft.  It was an honor to know him and to call him a friend.

To Hans' family, "Those we love don't go away, they walk beside us every day, unseen, unheard, but always near, still loved and missed and very dear". We have so many special memories. Rest in Peace Hans. Love, Aunt Margaret and Uncle Don

Dad was one in a million. He touched so many lives, was caring and so funny. I will miss his antics and unconditional love. I could not have asked for a better father, father in law to Ian and Opa to Justin. He fought courageously and can now rest peacefully. All our love- Angie, Ian & Justin
