Domenico Dicicco

Suddenly passed away on Thursday August 16, 2018 from a short battle with cancer. Domenico is predeceased by his parents, Fortunato and Marta. He is also predeceased by Winston and Jeffrey. Loving husband of Susan. Domenico will be truly missed by his children, Marta and Fortunato. Beloved Nonno of Roman and Sofia. Dear son- in-law of Sharon, brother of Francesca (Fortunato) and Josephine (Pat). Domenico is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He will also be truly missed by his girl, Angel.

Born in Valleluce Italy, he came to Canada at the young age of 16. He soon became very interested in everything to do with horse racing. with his magnetic personality, he was able to for many close friendships and bonds within the racing community. Domenico's proudest win was with Royas Bambi and his favorite horse was GM Chip. Domenico had many other passions including cooking (and eating), soccer, travelling, his grandchildren and of course his family near and far. Within the last ten years, he grew his passion for traveling and was able to go home to Italy numerous times to visit his family. This loss will be felt deeply, leaving a void in the hearts of all who knew him.

There will be a visitation on Tuesday August 21, 2018 from 5pm – 8pm at Needham Funeral Service (520 Dundas St.). There will be a private family service.
