Betty Margaret Sage

Betty passed away peacefully in the early hours of March 17, 2025 at St. Joseph’s Hospice of London, Ontario. Predeceased by her beloved husband William ‘Bill’ Sage (2002). Betty was in her 100th year.

She is survived by her children: Richard (Lorraine), Paul (Catherine) and Patricia (Peter); her grandchildren: Adrianna (James), William (Ping), Lindsay (Paul), Andrew (Kelly), Courtney (Jordan) and Linnea (Sam); as well as her great-grandchildren: Garrett, Bridget, Easton, Olivia, Lincoln, Henry and Frederick.

Betty brought her warmth of personality and positive outlook to all that she did in life. Whether sports (golf, tennis and especially curling), volunteering (35+ years at York Regional Hospital) or her family, Betty made everything better.

A special thanks from the family to the staff and volunteers at St. Joseph’s Hospice of London whose care and compassion made Betty’s final months far more comfortable than they might have been.
