William Edgar Morgan was born January 29, 1927 and peacefully passed away on August 23, 2022 at age 95. Beloved husband of Dale Morgan. Loving father of Zak, Chris, Patti Sorgeloos, and Larry. Cherished grandfather of Jason, Joshua, and Jennifer. Dear great grandfather of Elsie, Penny and Alanna. Dearest uncle of many.
William is preceded in death by his two sisters, Joan Brown and Mary Kenzie.
Bill was a longtime business owner and entrepreneur in the Electrical field where he taught and mentored many. He proudly served in the United States Navy during WWII on a minesweeper in the Pacific. He was a great friend to many and will be missed.
Bill was an avid sportsman who loved sailing and fishing. His joy of travel was always there. Both Bill and Dale loved spending their many summers in Northport, Michigan with friends. His joy at home was his love for his six different Westie pups.
A committal with military honors will be held at Great Lakes National Cemetery: 4200 Belford Rd., Holly, Michigan on Monday, September 12, 2022 at 2:30PM. If attending please arrive at the cemetery by 2:00pm.
