Wanza M. Christie passed away on December 19, 2015 at the age of 90. She was the loving mother of JoAnn Vanderziel, Charles Parker, Karen McKean, and Mary Ellen (Tim) Shaltis. The cherished grandmother of Mark, Janet, Judy, Mike, JoAnn Marie, Matt, Karissa, Jason, Douglas, Jen, Amanda and Sarah. The beloved great grandmother of Roze, Zara, Christine, Christopher, Tiffany, Charlie, Ray, Randy, Patrick, Mikey, Jessica, Justin, David, Gavin, Seth, Liam, Nathan, and Bennett and great-great grandmother of Max, Andrew and Kaleigh. Wanza was preceded in death by her parents David and Bessie Alvis, her husband of 25 years, Dick Parker, and her husband of 10 years, Don Christie.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 21, 2015 at 5:30pm at Harry J. Will Funeral Home, 37000 Six Mile Road in Livonia. Visitation will take place from 11am until the time of service.
