Wallace P. Cahill, age 85, passed away after a short battle with cancer on May 31, 2017. He was born on May 7, 1932. He served in the Korean War with the U.S. Army and returned to the Detroit area to work in the automotive industry. He will be fondly remembered as a hobby carpenter and craftsman. He is survived by his loving family: his wife Arminta, his sons Kerry and Mark (Kim) and his daughters Lori, Lynn (John Szymkowski), Julie (David Frauenheim) and Jill (David Ahmed) ex son-in-laws Mark Wozniak and Jim Fish, his sister Ellenore Jordan, and many grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Dorothy Phillips Cahill in 2003.
Visitation Monday, June 12 from 1-7pm at Harry J. Will Funeral Home 37000 Six Mile Road in Livonia. Wallace will be laid to rest at Glen Eden Memorial Park in Livonia. Memorials can be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
