Terry Lee Poster Jr., age 52, of Livonia, Michigan passed away on Friday, July 19, 2024. Loving husband of Tina for 26 years. Beloved father of Devin and Dylan. Dear son of the late Terry Sr and Susan Poster. Cherished brother of Amy Poster. Proud son-in-law of Larry and Sandy Woodhouse and brother-in-law of Denise (Todd) Pedersen. Uncle of many nieces and nephews.

TJ found his passion for cooking at a young age working in his family's restaurant, Crawford's of Northville. He loved his career as an accomplished chef, having served many important figures such as Presidents of the United States and the Detroit Lions. He enjoyed watching TV shows dedicated to cooking, and appeared himself several times on local news channels highlighting his skills.

Sports were an important part of his life. He served as a coach during his sons junior football league careers. He found much joy in mentoring and assisting the Livonia Falcons. One of his biggest highlights was watching his boys go on to play for Livonia Stevenson High School.

TJ was also an outdoor enthusiast. He was raised hunting with his dad, grandfather, and uncles. He later went on to many years of hunting with some of his closest friends. Some of his biggest passions included camping, working on vehicles, and riding his motorcycle. He cared deeply for animals, having had many dogs and exotic pets throughout his life including snakes, a raccoon, iguanas and tarantulas.

He was blessed to have life-long friends turned family, but he especially loved his sons more than anything. He will be deeply missed.

A memorial gathering will be held Monday, July 29, from 10:00am-1:00pm at Harry J Will Funeral Home, 37000 Six Mile Rd, Livonia, MI 48152, followed by a service at 1:00pm. Contributions in his memory are appreciated to St. Jude.
