Thomas P. Mahon, age 89, of Farmington Hills, Michigan, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 20, 2024. He was the beloved husband of the late Phyllis Mahon and loving father of the late Daniel (Jackie) Mahon and Tammy (the late Doug) Brink. Cherished grandfather to Jim (Liz) Wiley, Chelsy (Luke) Stephenson, Grace Mahon, and Logan Mahon. He was a proud great-grandfather to Brooke, Brayden, Bryon, and Olivia.
Thomas is survived by his dear siblings Shirley, Ginger, Alma Jean, Mike, Denny (Sandy), and Jerry (Judy). He was a caring friend to Trisha Kelly, who provided him with devoted care in his later years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Margaret Mahon, and his siblings, Lois and Tim.
A dedicated member of the Ancient Order of Hibernians, Thomas was known for his easygoing nature and positive outlook on life.
Visitation for Thomas will be held on Sunday, July 28, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a 6:00 PM rosary taking place at Harry J Will Funeral Homes, 37000 W. Six Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan 48152. A funeral mass will take place on Monday, July 29, 2024, at 10:00 AM (9:30 AM Instate) at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 23815 Power Rd, Farmington, Michigan 48336.
