Stella Rose Grima

Stella Grima was born on September 25, 1931 in Detroit, MI to the late Raphael Bonnici and Mary Aquilina. She passed away on March 24, 2017 in Livonia, Michigan with her family by her side. Stella spent the majority of her years focusing on raising 5 children and getting them prepared for life through 12 years of school and guiding all 5 successfully through college. As her children grew, she worked at Madonna College until she officially retired.

Beloved wife of the late John. Loving mother of Edward (Rita), the late Robert (Margaret), Michael (Sandra), Mary Ellen (Donald) Provenzola and Joseph (Karen). Cherished grandmother of 21. Great grandmother of 9. Dear sister of Carmella, Jenny, the late Leon and Rita.

Visitation Tuesday 2-8 pm with a 7pm Rosary at Harry J. Will Funeral Home 37000 Six Mile Rd. in Livonia. Funeral Wednesday, in state10:00am until the time of Mass at 10:30am at St. Colette Catholic Church 17600 Newburgh Rd. in Livonia. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions appreciated to the Capuchin Soup Kitchen.
