Shirley Ruth Shepherd

Shirley was born in Detroit, Michigan on September 22, 1926 to Wilhelm and Emma Stol. She graduated from Detroit Southwestern High School, and remained in contact with many of her classmates until her health deteriorated.

Shirley was an active member of Holy Cross Ev. Lutheran Church in Livonia, enjoying its ministry and working in the office.

Shirley was a homemaker, gardener, seamstress and loving mother. She enjoyed golf, bowling, bridge and pinochle with her longstanding friends and social circle.

Shirley's family will receive friends on Monday January 2, 2012 from 5-9 pm at the Harry J. Will Funeral Home, 37000 Six Mile Road (just east of Newburgh) in Livonia. Her Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday January 3, 2010 at 11:00 am with in state at 10:00 am, at Holy Cross Ev. Lutheran Church, 30650 Six Mile Road, Livonia.

She will be laid to rest next the her husband at Glen Eden Memorial Park.
