Mughannem, Shauqi J. passed away April 29, 2016 at the age of 78. Beloved husband of Ayda for 57 years. Loving father of Masada (Don) McGrady, Albert Mughannem, Gloria (Dean) Leonard, and the late Jalil Mughannem. Dear grandfather of Alex (Kaleigh) Prokic, Mike (Alexandria) Prokic, Eric Mughannem, Andrew Webber, Elissa Mughannem, Noah Leonard, and Dylan Leonard. Shauqi retired from Ford Motor Company after 30 years of service in the quality control department. He was a volunteer probation officer in Livonia’s 16th District for 29 years.
Visitation Monday, May 2 from 6-8pm (with a Trisagion Service at 7:30pm) at The Basilica of St. Mary Orthodox Church, 18100 Merriman Road in Livonia. Funeral Service Tuesday, May 3 at 11am (in state at 10am) at the Basilica of St. Mary Orthodox Church. Interment at Glen Eden Memorial Park.
