Sharon Ellen Lyons

Sharon is survived by her son Timothy Milis, son James Milis (Claudine), daughter Carylyn Baase (Ronald), daughter Laurel David (Scott) and grandchildren Liana, Brandon, Donnielle, Shalen, Nathan, and April. She is also survived by her partner of 35 years, Diane Dobleske. She will also be missed by her dogs Mindi and Minnie.

Quoting Sharon, “I am very meticulous and fussy about my organization of ‘stuff’. I also loved designing our landscape and room redo’s, goes with my fussiness.” Her proudest job was being the manager of Security System and Loss Prevention Facility of NBD. Sharon loved traveling, and finally got to visit Scotland (where some of her ancestry is from). She loved genealogy, and searching/finding information on her family tree. She loved camping, walks on the beach, watching sunsets, and always finding rocks as a memento from her travels and going for drives to look at scenery. She liked to brag about her knee surgeries and her journey to regain her mobility (1st one in July 2019, 2nd one in October 2019). She was very gifted at photography, and framing, loved bowling and being left-handed but hated her naturally curly hair. Her favorite treat was her Starbucks red pepper egg bites (well-done) and an iced caramel cloud Macchiato.

Her four children, and six grandchildren were her world. Some of her proudest moments were watching her children and grandchildren grow and develop into the people they’ve become. Sharon loved helping others like if you needed a purse- she was on it, you needed some cash- she had you covered, you needed an order from Amazon- she was your contact. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her.
