Sam Ray Aneed

It is with great sadness we share the passing of Sam Ray Aneed. Sam was born on September 11, 1969, in Garden City, Michigan. He was taken too soon on December 27, 2023, after a 10-month battle with cancer. He was a fighter and worked up until the very end at his job at Dean Transportation. He is preceded in death by his father Riad Aneed and is survived by his mother, Rima Aneed, daughter Samantha Aneed, son Ray Aneed, sister Theresa (David) Audi, nephew Cameron Audi, nieces Madison and Reagan Audi, stepdaughter Tara (Eric Simms) and grandchildren Izzy Bella, Cali, and Nathan, many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and his lifelong best friend Mark. He was a wonderful son, devoted father, loving brother, and adoring Papa. He will be greatly missed by all.

A visitation for Sam will be held Tuesday, January 2, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Harry J Will Funeral Homes, 37000 W. Six Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan 48152, with a trisagion service at 7:30pm. The family invites you to join them afterwards for a meal pf mercy at Al Malek Grill and Banquet, 28937 Warren Rd., Garden City, MI 48135. An in state will occur Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Basilica of St Mary Antiochian Orthodox Church, 18100 Merriman Rd, Livonia, Michigan 48152, followed by a funeral liturgy beginning at 11:00am. Sam will be laid to rest in Parkview Memorial Cemetery.
