Saliba (Sammy) was born in Ramallah, Palestine in 1952. He immigrated with his family to the United States in 1967 where he met his beautiful wife Hiyam (Rizqalla) in Birmingham, Alabama years later. They went on to have a blessed marriage of 47 years, raising three beautiful daughters and owning and operating successful businesses, most recently Mr. Mike’s Grill in Westland, MI. Sammy loved cooking in his professional kitchen, enjoyed golf and football (Roll Tide!), and enjoyed time spent with his family and adored his grandchildren. Sammy was a vibrant lover of life, always with a smile and a joke for those he met. He was loved by everyone who knew him. He was kind, generous, and well respected. He will be greatly missed but his legacy will live on.
