Ruth Duncan

She was born in Detroit, Mi on September 12, 1934 to Dalton and Ethel Ross.

Ruth devoted her life to her Christian faith and her family. She was the rock that led a large family into festive gatherings on holidays, game nights or just whenever.

Ruth loved and adored her family and welcomed everybody with open arms. She had a steadfast sense of humor that was unwavering even in her final days. Ruth always had a quick comeback to a joke or a sarcastic remark. She also enjoyed piano playing, singing and had been part of her church choir for many years. She loved ice cream with her homemade chocolate sauce and it was typically her chosen dessert.

She will be deeply missed and remembered with great adoration.

Ruth is survived by her 6 children; Linda (Eli) Miller, John Jr. (Annette) Lindsay, Cathy Lindsay, Michael (Shelley) Lindsay, Scott (Marife) Lindsay and Kelly Lindsay. Also, many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her husband, John Lindsay. Brother, Ken Ross, Sister, Naomi Nunley.

The family will receive guest's for visitation Tuesday, January 23, 2024 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. funeral services are to immediately follow visitation.
