Rose Mary Theisen was born on December 16, 1933 in Dearborn, Michigan. She was the third child of the late John and Mary Hill. She passed away peacefully on January 6, 2017 with her family by her side.
While in the fourth grade Rose became friends with a young boy named Edward Theisen. Little did she know, Edward would later become the love of her life, with whom she would share over 64 years of marriage.
A loving caring woman, Rose devoted her life to her family. With a quick wit and wonderful sense of humor she took on any challenge that life sent her way, passing on this wonderful trait to her children and grandchildren.
Rose was the beloved wife of Edward Theisen. Loving mother of James Theisen, Stephen Theisen, Cheryl (Ken) Nelson, and Diane (Bill) Kahler. Proud grandmother of Matt, Jeff, Mark, Andrew, Christopher, Bill and Scott and great-grandmother of 5.
The Theisen family will receive friends for a Memorial Gathering on Thursday January 12, 2017 from 3-8 pm at the Harry J. Will Funeral Home, 37000 Six Mile Rd. (east of Newburgh and I-275) in Livonia.
