Ronnie Shelton

Ronnie is preceded in death by his parents John and Mildred, his brother, Larry, and Larry’s wife, Pat.

He is survived by his husband, Steve Rogers, his nephew, Kirk Shelton, his niece Lisa (Dan) Fillmore, his nephew John (Denise) Shelton, and his nephew Brad (Maggie) Shelton, and several other grand-nieces and nephews, all who will miss him dearly. One of Ronnie’s favorite things was spending time with his family.

Ronnie was devoted to his career in cosmetology and owned his own hair salon for 40 years. He loved to make people laugh and was known to pull pranks from time to time - his favorite (and easiest) target was his brother. He also loved slot machines and he traveled to Las Vegas on regular basis (funny how his prices always seemed to go up a bit after those trips). He loved travel, especially on cruises, and enjoyed good food. Ronnie was also very giving and had several charities he supported on a regular basis.

A visitation for Ronnie will be held Thursday, August 10, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Harry J Will Funeral Homes, 37000 W. Six Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan 48152. A funeral service will occur Friday, August 11, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Harry J Will Funeral Homes.
