Roger Francis Buelow

Beloved husband of Trudy (Gertrude) for 55 wonderful years. Loving father of Roger II (Amy) and Jason (Amy). Cherished grandfather of Stella, Seamus, Phoebe, Sophia, Cassidy, Maya, Jack and Calvin. Dear brother of Edward (Connie) Buelow. Dear uncle of Charles Hansen and Alan Buelow. Loving brother-in-law of Howard and Jackie Hansen, Randy and Jennie Carlisle. He loved his cousins Denise Galloway and Cindy Lukas.

Roger worked for Ford Motor Company for 40 years as a Quality Control Auditor. He enjoyed making toys for the grandchildren in his wood shop and dollhouses for the granddaughters. Gardening and traveling were some of the many things he enjoyed doing. Roger also dedicated a lot of time being a Boy Scout leader with four troops and as a commissioner.

Roger served in the United States Air Force and was a Vietnam Veteran. He was a longtime member of the American Legion Post 32 in Livonia, the Elks, and Vietnam Veterans of America. He was a member of VFW where he served on the VFW Honor Guard. During the Christmas season, he enjoyed playing Santa Claus for kids at the Elks Club.

Roger will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
