Bob was preceded in death by…Parents Felix and Francis Malecki. Siblings Harry, Arthur, Christine, Phyllis and John.
Bob is survived by….Wife Adrianne. Children David (Dawn) Malecki, John (Mary) Malecki and Judi (David) Spiegel. Grandchildren Tyler, Corey, Kasey, Josh, Jared, Karl, Frank, David (Hannah), Andrew, Brooke and Jason. He is survived by sisters Mary Ciak and Irene Wiwigacz and many nieces and nephews.
Bob a loving husband, brother, father, and grandfather. A loyal friend and diligent volunteer. Bob was a proud member of the Knights of Columbus All Saints Council 4872 in Taylor for over 40 years. An Honored Veteran of the United States Army. He was active at the Stitt Post and Myron H. Beals Post 32. He worked in the Elevator industry for over 45 years, where he built lifetime friendships and helped many have the same work experience. He enjoyed sports and was the biggest fan, except for his first wife Adrianne she is the loudest fan, for his children and then grandchildren. The ol’ Sailor loved to be on the boat and loved to socialize with everyone because he was friends with everyone he met.
He truly enjoyed life to the fullest and loved to Polka dance. He was a member, former President of the board and Trustee of the Polka Booster club of America. He loved being in Florida and made so many friends in his retirement and truly enjoyed “Happy Hour” and golf.
He was loved and respected by so many and will be missed by all. Lastly, thanks for coming!
A visitation for Bob will be held Tuesday, December 27, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM. We will be praying the Rosary at 7pm. A funeral in state will occur Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at 9:30 AM at St. Mary, Cause Of Our Joy Catholic Church, 8200 North Wayne Rd., Westland, Michigan 48185 with a funeral mass 10:00 AM. After the burial, a luncheon will be held at the PRCU 1430 Oak St. Wyandotte, Michigan 48192.
