Ricky Layne Adkins was born March 27, 1956 and passed away January 16, 2021. Cherished son of Ady Faye Adkins and the late Carl Adkins. Beloved father of Kelly (Steven) Durham and Jeremy (Laurie) Adkins. Loving grandfather of Gavin and Connor. Dear brother of Harry (Beverly) Adkins and Michael (late Judith) Adkins.
Ricky retired from Ryerson Steel Company. He was a lover of NASCAR, especially Dale Earnhardt. Ricky was an avid supporter of Law Enforcement. He loved anything outdoors, was an avid hunter and enjoyed camping with his family. He adored spending time with his grandkids and making memories that they will cherish forever.
A celebration of Ricky's life will be held at Harry J Will Funeral Home in Livonia on Sunday February 7, 2021 at 9:00am until time of service at 2:00pm.
Due to COVID restrictions, 25 guests are able to visit at a time from 9am-2pm and only 25 for the service.
