Loving mother of Steven (Lynda) Shannon. Beloved grandma to Thomas and Jack Shannon. Dear sister to the late Kenneth (Carole) Hayes, Barbara (Leonard) Piner, and Jackie (Michael) Teagan.
Born in Detroit, Patricia loved to travel, enjoyed learning new things and working with people. She made friends wherever her career took her. Making lifelong friends while working at Detroit Edison, then while working with her late brother Ken and finally retiring from the SimplexGrinnell. Later in life her varied interests led her to Tai Chi, finding peace in its graceful movements. As well as ushering at the DSO, where her welcoming smile made every concert special.
Patricia's legacy of kindness, grace, and dedication will forever live on in the hearts of her family and friends. She leaves behind cherished memories and a profound impact on all who were fortunate enough to know her.
A visitation for Patricia will be held Thursday, April 4, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Harry J. Will Funeral Homes, 37000 Six Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan 48152. A funeral service will occur Friday, April 5, 2024 at 12:00 PM at Harry J. Will Funeral Homes.
Patricia will be laid to rest in Grand Lawn Cemetery & Mausoleum, 23501 Grand River Ave, Detroit, MI 48219.
