Nyla June Johnson

Nyla June (nee Falk) Johnson died peacefully on May 28, 2018, at the age of 90. Beloved wife of William (Bill) Johnson for 56 years, until his death in 2001. Loving mother of Paul William (died in 1946 at 7days), Donald William, Nancy (Richard) Temkin, Dan Gordon (Karla), Timothy (Sherry). Cherished grandmother of Laura (Jon), Theo (Pierre), Matthew (Judy), Max (Page), Marielle, Morgan, Myles, Nicholas, Hayden. Great Grandmother of Olive, William, Ray and June.

Nyla was a long time active member of Faith Lutheran Church in Livonia, MI. Her sense of humor, kindness, advocacy for animals, interest in the arts, and her deep love for her family and wide circle of friends was well known. Nyla will always be remembered with love, and remain in our hearts forever.

There will be a memorial service for Nyla at Harry J. Will Funeral Home, 37000 Six Mile Rd, Livonia, MI on Saturday, June16, 2018. The family will welcome guests beginning at 11:15 am, and the service will begin at 11:30 am. (There will be no visitation as her request was cremation.)

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to a charity of your choice, or St Jude Children’s Research Hospital, or the Michigan Humane Society.
