Michael Bannoura

Mr. Michael Bannoura was born on June 12, 1945 in Palestine and died in the presence of his loving family at home on May 11, 2012. During his life, he owned and operated several restaurants and delis.

He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Dalal as well his his beloved children Amad (Manal), Riad (Etaf) and Nehad Bannoura. He is the devoted grandfather of Michael, Majdi, Matthew, Jonathan and Angela. He was preceded in death by his father Nakhla and is survived by his mother Aziza. He is also survived and loved by his brothers and sisters Anna, Hannah, Munir, Munira, Hani, Gabriel and Mariam.

Friends may visit Michael's family during a visitation in his honor on Monday May 14, 2012 from 5 pm until 8 pm at the Antiochian Basilica of St. Mary Orthodox Christian Church, located at 18100 Merriman Road in Livonia, Michigan 48152. During the visitation, a Trisagion will be prayed in his memory at 7:30 pm. The Basilica is located on the east side of Merriman Road, north of W. Six Mile Road.

Funeral services for Michael will be held at the Basilica on Tuesday May 15, 2012. He will lie in state from 9 am until his funeral service at 10 am.

Michael will be laid to rest at Glen Eden Memorial Park in Livonia, Michigan.
