Max Friebel

Max Ernest Friebel was born on November 25, 1936 to his parents, George and Clara Friebel in Detroit, Michigan. Max peacefully passed away on November 26, 2022 at age 86. Beloved husband of Margaret for 65 years. Loving father of Diane (James) Dignan, Kimberly (William) Montgomery, and Glenda (Craig) Turner. Cherished grandfather of Nicholas Max Anttila, Morgan "Mason" Heinzmann, Timothy Heinzmann, and Dylan Heinzmann.

Max received his pilot license at just 16 years of age, he loved the adventure of flying and knew just about everything about aircrafts. he enjoyed building model airplanes and actually met the love of his life, Margaret at an airport. He built his own Taylorcraft alongside of his father and won an award for his model airplanes. His greatest treasure in life was his wife and 3 girls, he would do anything for them.

Max worked as a Draftsman for Livernois Automation for many years. After retiring he enjoyed taking photos, woodworking and gardening. He was a true perfectionist and everything had to be just right. He loved his animals especially his cats.

Max will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 2, 2022 from 2-8PM at Harry J. Will Funeral Home in Livonia. Funeral service, Saturday December 3, 2022 at 10AM (in state at 9:30am) at Harry J Will Funeral Home in Livonia. Max will be laid to rest at Glen Eden Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
