Mary Ann Sullivan

Mary Ann Sullivan was born in Hornell, New York on July 26, 1937 to Harold and Elizabeth Hoffman. She was one of eight children. Mary passed away in Livonia, Michigan on October 24, 2023 at the age of 86.

Mary Ann was the beloved wife of the late Jere Sullivan until his passing in 1995. Loving mother of Jean (John) Casey, Tim (Leslie) Sullivan, Carolyn (Tom) Pollard, and Dan (Laura) Sullivan.

Dear grandma of Jessica (Shaun) Clements, Christine (James) Sparbeck, Ryan Pollard, Brianna Sullivan (Corey McLeod) , Kara (Jake) Elliott, Lauren Pollard, Caylin Sullivan, Jacob Sullivan (Nicole Andes), and Kelley Sullivan.

Great grandma of Mia & Everly Clements, Cooper & Summer Sparbeck, and Miller Elliott.

Sister of the late Joann Hoffman (her twin), the late Carol (Dave) Thompson, the late Tom (the late Mary Ann) Hoffman, Steve (Joanne) Hoffman, the late Margie Thurston, the late John (Liz) Hoffman, and Bill Hoffman.

Sister in law of James (Florence) Sullivan, the late Brian Sullivan, and the late Mary Ann Sullivan.

Daughter in law of the late Bernice and Lawrence Sullivan.

Mary Ann will also be missed by many nieces, nephews and friends.

Mary Ann enjoyed a long and happy career as a cashier in several grocery stores, finally retiring from Stan's Market in Livonia, Michigan. After she retired, she worked as an aid for Early Childhood Center in South Lyon Community Schools. She was an avid card player and especially enjoyed Pinochle and Euchre. Her card playing skills remained sharp throughout her life, competitive to the end!

She was very social and loved to talk to everyone. Mary Ann was a loving mom and grandma that will be deeply missed.

Mary Ann's life will be celebrated with an 11:00am Mass at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church on Friday, November 3, 2023. 133 Orchard Dr, Northville, MI 48167. She will lie in state at the church beginning at 10:30am.

Mary Ann will be laid to rest with her husband in Parkveiw Memorial Cemetery, Livonia, Michigan.
