Mary A. McDonald Maiorana

Beloved wife of Joseph Maiorana. Loving Mother of Joe (Cathy) Maiorana, Chuck (Susan) Maiorana, Carolynn (Frank) Russo. Dear Grandmother of Joe & Ashley Maiorana and Franco & Vinny Russo. Loving Sister to Jerry (Laura) McDonald, Jim McDonald (deceased), Edna Mae (Bill) Rudberg, Joe McDonald, John McDonald.

Mary Ann grew up in Livonia and graduated from Bentley High School in 1956. Married her devoted husband of 56 years, August 1957 and raised their family in Livonia. Joe opened the family's business in 1968 where Mary Ann worked along side Joe to create the incredibly successful Livonia landmark, Joe's Produce.

Mary Ann & Joe moved to Northville in 1988 near Meadowbrook Country Club where they were longtime members and enjoyed playing golf & socializing with their friends and neighbors.

In 1997, Mary Ann retired with Joseph and moved to Bonita Springs Florida and enjoyed the beautiful warm weather. Mary Ann was an avid & talented artist, loved to play golf & mahjong at Pelicans Nest Golf Club in her new neighborhood as well as participating in water aerobics.

Family was always extremely important to Mary Ann. Her children & grandchildren were her greatest joy.

Visitation will take place at Harry J. Will Funeral Home 37000 Six Mile Rd. Livonia, MI 48152 on Thur. April 24 from 5-9pm and Fri. April 25 from 2-8 with a rosary at 7pm. The Funeral Mass will be at St. James Catholic Church of Novi on Sat. April 26 at 10:30am with an in state time of 10:00am.
