Marsha A. Engelhardt, 70, was called home to God on the morning of October 30, 2018. She passed comfortably and peacefully in Plymouth, Michigan in the presence of family and friends. Marsha was born March 2, 1948 in Detroit, Michigan to Betty and Henry Crutcher.
Marsha is survived by; brother Raymond Crutcher; daughter Jennifer (Frank) Morton; son Jason R. Degen; step son Richard (Kimberly) Engelhardt; step daughter Susan (Kirk) Matson; step daughter Mary (Hector) Roman; and step son Thomas (Kathryn) Engelhardt. Marsha also leaves behind 11 beloved grandchildren.
Marsha was preceded in death by her husband Alfred H. Engelhardt; brother Robert J. Crutcher; father Henry Crutcher; mother Betty Crutcher; and Robert A. Degen.
Marsha resided in Plymouth, Michigan until 1999 and worked as a computer program analyst before moving to Lost Lake Woods Club in Lincoln, MI., where she transitioned into the real estate business with her husband, best friend, and business partner, Al (OMGO) Engelhardt. She and Al worked as real estate agents for many years before starting their own company, A&M Properties. This line of work suited Marsha perfectly. She was a very outgoing, energetic, and a personable woman.
Marsha was a very loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She enjoyed cooking for family and friends, playing Euchre, traveling, golfing, and most of all, singing and dancing. Marsha would make up various aliases at the Karaoke venues so she could get on stage as often as possible. Her most popular alias was "Shyanne".
A memorial service will be held on November 18th, 2018 at 3:00 P.M. at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Alpena County, Michigan, 12365 US-23, Ossineke, MI 49766. Luncheon will immediately follow the memorial at the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Alcona County, 6848 US-23, Spruce, MI 48762.
