This is Rev. Joseph Stafford Rowser, Jr., oldest of 3 sons (Stafford, Reginald (deceased) and Jeffrey) of Norris High School Principal, the late Rev. Joseph Rowser Sr., and Teacher, the late Lera Smith Rowser, Attalla AL! Since the Summer of 1962, the Rowsers have known of "Lula Bell" Johnson and her Wonderful Family "within our Close-Knitted Norris Family". She is missed very much by Norris High School Family!
Today, as Pastor of Pine Grove Missionary Baptist Church, Lincoln AL (30 Years), I send Words of Condolences and Deepest Sympathy to The Family of Lula Bell Johnson!  Lula and I were in the same class through elementary and high school.  We were also in the band, I remember her as an excellent clarinet player, but most of all as a very sweet and kind person.
      Having known her since about 7 years of age I have a number of memories, the one I will share is my surprise when one day she drove to school, obviously we all crowded around her car and someone asked her to show her license, which she did.  Now everyone knows that to be in high school and driving to school is one of the coolest things that can happen to you as a teenager.

Sorry to hear of your loss. Lula was in my sister Ola’s class. I was in Helen Bothwell’s  class (1964). However, Lula and I were in Norris High School band. She gave me numerous rides to and from band practices. I will remember her being soft and demure, BUT fun to be in her presence.
The Moorer Family members send our condolences and prayers to the Johnson Family! May God blessings continue to overflow.

Lula was an alumni of Norris High and always participated in our school reunions.  Always appreciated her faithfulness and dedication to the reunion. May God comfort the family in this time of bereavement. Love you all. 

I am Mary Castleberry and Lula and I lived in the same block during our growing up years. We also attended Norris High School together. She was several grades ahead of me. I would always see her at our school reunions. Look to the hills from whence cometh your help as it comes from the Lord God Almighty. May God continue to bless and keep your family is my continued prayer.

I am sorry to hear of the passing of Lula keeping the Family in Prayer we grew up in Attalla I saw her at one of the Schools Reunion I am Dorothy Childs Willingham I was a grade behind her A Beautiful Person 🙏🙏🙏🌷
