Potok, Laurence Joseph passed away January 8, 2016 at the age of 74. Loving husband of Ann. Beloved father of Cheryl Gordon, Michelle (Brian) Nichols, and Laurie Potok. Cherished grandfather of Steven and Addison Nichols. Dear brother of Terry Potok and Marty (Debbie) Potok. Laurence retired from Ford Motor Co. after 30 years of service. He was an active member of the Northville community for 29 years. He coached CYO basketball and in the late 1980’s and early 1990’s. Laurence was also a proud veteran of the US Army. An avid and accomplished golfer, Laurence had 3 hole-in-ones during his amateur golfing career.
Visitation Monday, January 11 from 2-9pm at Harry J. Will Funeral Home, 37000 Six Mile in Livonia. Funeral Mass Tuesday, January 12 at 11:30am (in state at 11am) at St. Kenneth Catholic Church, 14951 Haggerty Road in Plymouth. Memorials can be made to Angela Hospice or St. Kenneth Church.
