Kay Podger was born February 24, 1925 to Alex and Cora Evans in Indianola, PA. She passed away February 5, 2016 at the age of 90. Beloved mother of Alex (Merrill) Wassell Jr. and the late Linda Poush. Loving grandmother of Robin Perry. Great-grandmother of Samantha Meyers and Sarah and Sabrina Perry. Dear sister of Jim (Lucille) Evans, Martha Zackeroff, the late Andrew Evans, the late Agnes Kurzyna, and the late Helen Mikulen. Kay is also survived by many beloved cousins, nieces, and nephews. Kay graduated from Hamtramck High School and worked accounts receivable at First Federal Bank and Oakwood Hospital.
Funeral Service Monday, February 8 at 12pm, with visitation beginning at 10am, at Harry J. Will Funeral Home, 37000 Six Mile Road in Livonia. Interment at Parkview Cemetery in Livonia.
