Kathleen is survived by her children Ronald (Sharon) Hartmus Jr. of Novi, Susan (Matthew) Hiser of Wixom, and Ann Marie (David) Kochanek of Ann Arbor, daughter-in-law Julie Hartmus of Roanoke, IN, 12 grandchildren, brother Lawrence DeVergilio of Elk Rapids, and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Ann DeVergilio, her husband Ronald Hartmus, and her son Kenneth Hartmus.
Kathleen was a member of St. Edith Catholic Church in Livonia since 1967, she was a teacher with Detroit Public Schools and St. Agatha Catholic Church in Redford.
Visitation, Thursday, September 14, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Harry J. Will Funeral Home Livonia. Funeral mass, Friday, September 15, 2023 at 11:00 AM (in state 10:00 AM) at St. Edith Catholic Church-Livonia. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
