Dear  Tony and family, 
So sorry to hear of your loss.  Gary and I are here in South Carolina and feel so bad we will miss her funeral. Karen was such a kind person who touched many hearts.  I thank you for taking the time to attend my dad's memorial mass at st.albertus. Also tony I often think of that heart warming story you told me years ago regarding how you met your beautiful wife..you were both so blessed!  God bless you during this time of sorrow.

Tony and FAMILY,  Whenever things feel low for me, I reflect on your family.  It"s the faith that I learned from you, and witnessed in you that keeps me alive in Christ.  I want you all to know how much I love you.  My prayers are with you always.

Karen - You had so many prayers and offerings from people who knew you personally and also from those who did not. You offered to so many such a fine example of a woman of great faith and hope and love and suffered well as Christ did on the cross. Please know you are a great inspiration to those who remain here for a while. May your face-to face with Our Lord be ever joyful and filled with great peace. I am quite sure your prayers from eternity will be all the more powerful for those you leave behind who love you so dearly. May they feel His graces offered through you and may you bask in His glory forever ++ +

Karen , you were beautiful on the outside but even more on the inside. We will truely miss you always. You and Tony were made for each other and were one of our favorite couples.Also you and Tony did a super job raising the kids, they all turned out just great!!!

Dear Dan, Tony and Family,  

Karen (your Mom/wife) was such a kind and gentle-spirited woman.  I cherished our conversations after Mass (at SSA) and outside of school, by phone or at social events (recall the 70s party at the Mikelonis's?).  I so valued her perspective as she had such a loving, wise and charitable view of things.  Her devotion as a mother, particularly to Dan while at Spiritus Sanctus, was truly inspiring to me.  We called one another "birthday sister" as we shared the same birthday of Nov. 14th.  I know that she has found the peace, comfort and joy with her Lord that she knew so well while she was here.  I pray that you too will, with time, have that peace and comfort as well, as I'm sure her prayers will assure.

I will miss you.  Even though it's been years, you had such a positive effect on my life.  You were always a fine example of Catholic love.  I keep remembering things we spoke of over the years, things that will stay with us.  We could speak honestly and I loved that.

I remember you having one of the early computers and it worked SO slow but it was such a blessing.

And how happy you were to have Danny on the day the country through out the congress.  

And the trouble ( wink wink) that I kind of caused when I suggested a few changes to the wallpaper in your front entrance.  I'll never forget the look Tony gave me.  

I so enjoyed you Karen and I'm sorry we loosed based theses last few years.  Prayers for your family.
