John Norton, age 49, of Wayne, Michigan passed away on October 14, 2019.
John was born in Wayne to Patrick and Karen Norton on April 3, 1970. John was born with Down Syndrome and touched the lives of everyone he met. He competed in Special Olympics his whole life, participated in community theater at the State Wayne Theater, and worked at Wendy's on Michigan Avenue for 20 years.
John is survived by brother Patrick/PJ Norton (nephews Patrick and Eric Norton), sister Nancy Norton (husband Martin Garthwaite, nephews Cole and Dylan Garthwaite) and brother Brian Norton (wife Stephanie Schechner).
A celebration of life will be held from 4:00-7:00 pm on Saturday November 9, 2019 at The Claddagh, 17800 Haggerty Rd, Livonia. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The ARC of NW Wayne County at http://www.thearcnw.org/contribute/
