John Potts Hobart

Loving husband of Delores Hobart, proud father of Rebecca Hampton (Lonnie) Heather Lempea (Jimmy), Karen Hunter, Gene Hunter, Frank Hunter and Steve Hunter. Beloved grandfather to seven grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.

John had a passion for golf and played in many golf tournaments throughout his life. He was a proud member of Unity of Livonia; a spiritual place to gather. He had the pleasure of becoming the facility manager, business administration, board of trustees and even sat as the treasurer. Outside of working at Unity of Livonia, you could find John remodeling homes or working on his photography skills. He will always be remembered by his writings, rather is was poem, short story, or a verse.

A visitation (25 people at a time) for John will be held Sunday, January 10, 2021 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Harry J Will Funeral Homes, 37000 W. Six Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan 48152 with a Memorial Service at 5:00 PM. To accommodate for Covid restrictions, there will a livestream hosted on the Harry J Will Funeral Homes Facebook page.
