Beloved husband of Marilyn Buchan and the late Nancy Duffy Buchan. Loving father of Linda (John) McCoy, the late Joann (Tim) Harvey and Bruce (Mary) Buchan. John was a loving grandfather, great grandfather, step father, step grandfather and step great grandfather. He will also be missed by the loving and devoted caregivers at Arden Court Bingham Farms. He was the devoted son of John and Jessie Buchan from Fraserburgh, Scotland who moved to Dearborn, MI. He graduated from Fordson High School and attended Lawrence Technical Institute. He was executive Vice President of Cloverdale Equipment Co. He was an avid golfer and past member of Meadowbrook and Muskegon Country Clubs. He also enjoyed music, friends and family.
A memorial visitation will be held on Thursday December 27, 2018 from 11:00 am until the time of service at 12:00 pm at Harry J. Will Funeral Home 37000 Six Mile Rd. in Livonia. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
