Irmgard Luise Christenson was born in Dearborn, Michigan to Walter and Therese Mai on February 28, 1934. She was one of 3 children. Irmgard passed away peacefully on October 12, 2013 in Livonia, Michigan at the age of 79.
Irmgard was the beloved wife of the late Roger who passed away before her in 1997. Loving mother of Mark (Amy) Christenson and Cheryl (Jon) Dalsin. Dear grandma of Mark Christenson, Lily Dalsin and Abby Dalsin. Survived by her brothers, Robert(Karen) Mai and Richard (Sue) Mai.
The family will receive friends for a Visitation on Thursday, October 24, 2013 from 3-8pm at Harry J. Will Funeral Home 37000 Six Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan 48152 (Just east of I-275 and Newburgh Roads).
The Funeral Service, led by Pastor Timothy J. Brand, will be at 11:00am on Friday, October 25, 2013 at Salem Lutheran Church 32430 Ann Arbor Trail, Westland, Michigan 48185. Final Viewing will begin at the church on Friday at 10:00am
Irmgard will be laid to rest with her husband in Glen Eden Lutheran Memorial Park, Livonia, Michigan.
