Irene M. Ponto Brown

Irene M. Brown was born in Detroit, Michigan to Joseph and Alice Ponto on June 20, 1930. She was one of 9 children. She passed away peacefully in Sterling Heights, Michigan on May 21, 2013 at the age of 82.

She was the beloved wife of Edward for 63 years. Loving mother of Steven (Sheryl) Brown, Edward (Cathy) Brown, Vicki (George)Collar, and Sherry (Jeff) Anderson. Dear Grandma of Debra Tjernagel, Linda Brown, Tina Brown, Valerie (Dan) Glander, Kim Brown, Jonathan Collar, Jameson Collar, Marisa Anderson, Philip Anderson, Melanie Anderson and Maria Anderson. Great-grandma of the soon to be; Baby Glander. Survived by her siblings Mary (the late Jack) Hastings, Connie (the late Henry) King, Robert (Shirley) Ponto, Donald (Marilyn) Ponto, Richard (Gerrie) Ponto, Judy Ponto, Janet (Leonard) Rosati, and the late Dorothy (the late Robert) Brown.

Family will receive friends for a Visitation on Friday, May 24, 2013 from 2-8pm. The Funeral Service will be at 11:00am on Saturday, May 25, 2013 at the Harry J. Will Funeral Home 37000 Six Mile, Livonia, MI 48152

Irene will be laid to rest in Glen Eden Memorial Park Cemetery, Livonia, MI
