I will always remember meeting up with Garnet and Dave at their daughter, Linda’s house.  It was a lovely evening and enjoyed catching up with them .   Garnet was there for family.. Prayers for David and family.

I join everyone from Broadcast House in my fond memories of Garnet.  Her kindness, sense of humor and bright smile made every day I saw her a little brighter.  My sincerest condolences to her family.
    

What a wonderful lady I remember the times when we used to all sit around eating breakfast and lunch and watch my favorite program All My Children I couldn't get the mail through without having my lunch and breakfast there Garnett you will always be missed

What I would not give to hear Garnet say ....."hey sweet lady"...then I would say; .. "takes one to know one", what a huge heart this woman had,  she was a mother to many,  a friend to all and an absolute sheer delight to encounter.
 I'm already missing her.

It was always a pleasure to head to the caf & see Garnet. She was always smiling and always so kind! Sending big hugs & love to her family. Hoping memories bring a lot of comfort.

I'm so sorry and sad to hear of your Mom's passing.  She and your Dad were such a big part of my life growing up and so many precious memories.  She was like a second Mom to me.  We were so blessed Linda to have such beautiful role models for Mothers!  My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this difficult time and I pray that her love and memories will sustain you. I am so profoundly sorry to hear the news of Garnet's passing.

I've known Garnet for over three decades...she and I bowled in the Adcraft Mixed Bowling League.  She, of course was on the Channel 7 team, while I was on the Channel 4 team.  

Words cannot adequately express what a sweet woman she was.  We had so many wonderful conversations over the years, and I will miss her dearly.  

I posted the news about her passing on our bowling league Facebook page, and SO many people are commenting about how terrific she was - the bowling league absolutely loved her.

I want to extend my deepest condolences to you, and pray that your current grief is soon replaced by warm memories of happier times past.

I’m sorry hear of Garnet’s passing. She was a shining bright light every morning at Broadcast House. 

Just an absolutely lovely person.  She brought a smile and joy to all she interacted with.  Garnet always cared more about others than herself and this world is better because of her.  She epitomizes what had made Channel 7 the great place it is.  

A beautiful, loving woman who was a very special person in our family. Always there at all of our celebrations. I admired her work ethic and how long she remained employed. She will be deeply missed. Our love and prayers go out to David and the family.

Garnet was so sweet and kept us well fed on the morning show. I loved chatting with her and her omelets were divine. Sending lots of love to her family. 

Garnet ALWAYS had a smile with her, “What can I get you, sweetie?”. I always enjoyed our chats as she made me something delicious with care. She took time to ask me how I was doing and we shared some laughs over the years.  She was truly a highlight of my day. I send my deepest condolences to her loved ones. She was a special soul and it was a gift to know her. 

Garnet was alway a lovely soul  you looked forward to seeing everyday. We had a common bond after we found out that we both drove the same type of car, a 1994 black Buick Regal. We would laugh when we both shared that sometimes we walked to the wrong car in the Channel 7 parking lot trying to get in. Garnet has served her last meal and will be missed by all, RIP beautiful.

We are so sorry for the loss of  your mom and grandmother. May you find comfort in knowing she is at peace and in God's arms watching over you now. Love you both!

Garnet was an absolute angel. Magic, kind and loving. Pure of heart and a joy. The very best kind of all of us. A prayer for her and all her loved ones. 

Garnet was a special soul. She brought joy to our Channel 7 family, and treated everyone like a brother, sister, son, or daughter. She will be remembered and celebrated at WXYZ, because anyone who knew her cherishes the time spent together. We've all been sharing stories tonight since we found out about the tragic news. Her kindness is at the core of every story. I'm so sorry to her family and loved ones.

There's so many memories I have of Aunt Garnet.   Oh how I thought she was so cool and wore such stylish clothes!   I wanted red hair just like hers.  She was so easy for me to talk to and laugh with.   I remember all the Holidays together, the sisters and Mamoo cooking everything.   It was always delicious!  We knew we were loved!   I love you Aunt Garnet 

So many sweet memories. I remember when I was little, all my aunts gathering for coffee every morning. Their big updos (which inspires me to this day) and all the hairspray! The emmaculate housekeeping and great cooking learned from Grandma. Plastic on the living room furniture. So sad for the loss but pray she finds comfort in the arms of Jesus. I love you and Garnet.

I will never forget the Christmas parties when all the sisters & Jake were together. They were always laughing and joking. As much as Aunt Garnet will be missed I know they are all together again. 

How i remember Garnet is fully dressed laying in bed in Vegas so when she got up she wouldn't miss anything. Garnet will be greatly missed. She was so much fun at Womens National Bowling Tournaments.  Condolences to the family. Loved her also.
