As the daughter of Scottish immigrants, Frances "Fran" developed a hard work ethic early. She worked throughout her life at various jobs, including spending many years working alongside her daughter , Colleen and sister, Margaret at the Southeastern Michigan Builders Association. Always the caring one, she would frequently bring in baked goods for her coworkers. Baking was one of her many hobbies. She never went to a family function or event without a home baked treat. She would even bring her desserts on her travels to visit her son and his family in California.
A lifelong fan of music, she enjoyed many genres including current popular music. It was not unheard of to see her singing and dancing to songs, even enjoying the occasional concert with her family and friends in her later years. Above all else Frances loved her family, including her furry family (cats). Her grandchildren were the light of her world. A loving, caring, kind woman, Frances will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Fran was the cherished wife of the late Dennis. Loving mother of Dennis (Marypat) McKenna and Colleen Kubert. Proud grandmother of Patrick McKenna, Katie (Brian) McKenna-Marini, Kelly McKenna, Michael (Christa) Kubert, David Kubert and Kendall Goddard. Great-grandma of Scarlett Marini, Kohen and Dakota Kubert. Dear sister of Margaret Kowalski, Irene Palmer, Michael Coyle, Owen “Sonny"Coyle, James Coyle, Charles Coyle and the late Patrick Coyle.
