Daisy Rosina Elso

Daisy Rosina Elso, also fondly known as Joan, was born July 23, 1928 in London, England and passed away November 13, 2021. Beloved wife of the late Harold Elso. Loving mother of the late Ronald Elso, Susan (Joseph) Ventura and Barbara (Jerry) Allison. Cherished grandmother of Kathy (Chris) Armstrong, Chris (Leah) Ventura, Cody Allison and Haley Allison. proud great grandmother of Sophia Armstrong and Llewyn Ventura. Dear sister of Wally Ames and preceded in death by the late Fred Ames, John Ames and Christopher Ames.

Daisy met her soon to be husband Harold at age 17 in England while Harold was stationed there during WWII. After marrying, Daisy and Harold left England and planted their roots in Michigan where they would soon raise their three children. Even though it was hard departing from her family at just 17 she adopted a new family filled with close neighbors and friends in Detroit. One particular person who became like a "third daughter" to her was Kathy Chapman who continued to care for Daisy throughout the years.

In 2014 Daisy moved to Ashford Court and met her second family who she created many memories with until passing in November of 2021. Daisy will be tremendously missed by all who knew and loved her.

A visitation for Daisy will be held Thursday, November 18, 2021 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Harry J Will Funeral Home in Livonia. A funeral in state will occur Friday, November 19, 2021 from 10:00 AM until time of service at 11:00 AM also at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Disabled American Veterans in Daisy's honor.

Daisy will be laid to rest at Glen Eden Lutheran Memorial Park Cemetery.
