Barb and I became CFEs at the same time in 1997 and joined the SEMCACFE at the same time in 1996.  She was a friend, as my VP when I was President of SEMCACFE, my support and advisor. We attended and as leaders of the chapter worked to create seminars for the menbers and othes who shared the same passion about fraud prevention.  I miss her discussions to solve the problems of the world. 
She will be dearly missed by myself and all who knew her.  Good bye my friend and may you find peace with God.

Barbara was a friend and work colleague in Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan. Ever cheerful with an extreme sense of humor. May your soul rest in perfect peace free from all pains and disappointments.

I knew Barb through her role in SEMCACFE. Those meetings have always been a bright spot, in many ways because of the fun and passion Barb brought there. We could always count on her to (somehow) keep the meeting in control, even when things didn't always go right (as can so often happen!). SEMCACFE won't be the same without her - but we will always have memories of her fun style of leadership. RIP Barb - we will miss you so much!

I knew Barb through the ACFE chapter for many years. She was a great president and an even better person who improved everyone’s day with her smile, laugh, and friendliness. Unfortunately, I will be unable to attend due to my medical appointments on Monday. Best wishes to her family and friends and you can be proud for having known her. So sorry for the loss, I knew Barb for many years through the Michigan CFE chapter. She was always a great leader and enjoyed a good joke.

Barb was such a sweet soul I did her hair for about 7 years. I always looked forward to our visits we would laugh for hours she could always turn my day around. She will be dearly missed rest in peace and sing with the angels my dear friend until we meet again.

Barb was a beautiful soul, always caring for others. She would drop what she was doing to help someone in need, that was just her style. Her smile was infectious and her laugh as well. A highly intelligent woman who also had a strong will. We shared many stories and laughter together, just recently standing out in front of our homes for over an hour talking about how blessed we are to be surrounded by good people.  I’ll forever cherish the friendship I had with Barb and our long conversation that day.   
I visited Barb after she came home from the hospital and as we always joked with each other I asked her where she wanted to go when she could get out of the bed and she replied “Mexico”.  Well my dear friend, I hope you’re living it up in Mexico on the beautiful sandy beaches and may you Rest In Peace in God’s loving arms. I’m going to miss you. Until we meet again ~~
