Anesa Mashni was born on June 10, 1932 in Amman, Jordan and died on February 24, 2024 in Plymouth Michigan. During her 91 years Anesa experienced many changes from leaving her home country and settling in a country that had a different culture, language and expectations. That did not deter her from her focus in life of being a wonderful wife, a great mother and obedient follower of God.
Anesa had 3 sisters and 5 brothers (4 preceded her in death), she married Wadie (who preceded her in death in 2010) in 1947 and together had 7 boys Paul (Barb, Barbara who preceded her in death), John (Linda), Joe (Harriet), Victor (Nancy), Samir (Rachel, who preceded her in death), Simon (Rhonda) and Sami (Donna).
Anesa lived a life the Bible speaks about in Proverbs 31 “a wife of noble character who can find? She is worth far more than rubies. Her husband has full confidence in her and lacks nothing of value. She watches over the affairs of the household– Her children arise and call her blessed— a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised”.
Anesa and Wadie’s children blessed them with 21 grandchildren (one preceded her in death) 33 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. Her legacy of loving God is seen in her Bible condition and has left a major impact on her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren and extended family that will last for eternity.
