Born in Schenectady, NY, Bill spent the majority of his life in New Jersey and New York City. A graduate of Florida Atlantic University, Bill was a successful salesman in the New York City garment industry for many years, and then pursued his dream of going into business for himself, with many exciting entrepreneurial endeavors.
Bill was larger than life and lit up every room that he was in. His greatest joy was his wife and children, family and life-long friends. He had a passion for life and for sports, especially the New York Yankees and New York Jets.
Bill is survived by his wife, Eileen Harris, his children, Brandon and Alyssa Harris, his mother, Claudia Harris, his twin sister Nancy (Jeff) Parker, his brother-in-law, Tommy (Gilda) Libonati, his sisters-in-law, Sally (Frank) Fazio and Lori (Tom) Acklen, and his nieces and nephews, Samantha, Alex, Christian, Nathaniel, Luke, Robbie and Aaron.
Contributions in Bill’s memory may be made to the NJ Sharing Network and Autism Speaks.
