Patricia “Trish” Duffy, 65, of Livingston, passed away on Monday, December 3, 2018 with her loving family by her side. Born in Newark, Trish was a lifelong resident of Livingston and a member of the St. Philomena Parish. She attended St. Philomena’s grammar school (Aquinas Academy), and later graduated from East Orange Catholic. She then attended Mt. Ida College, and Montclair State University. Trish worked as a realtor for 29 years, most recently at Coldwell Banker in Livingston, where she was recognized as a top Agent in Livingston for many years. Some of her achievements include NJAR Circle of Excellence, the Diamond Society, President’s Circle and was ranked in Top 4% of Realtors nationwide. She was a very active member in the Livingston community, volunteering for the Junior Lancers Football Organization, Livingston Little League, The Big L Club, Livingston Bi-Centennial Picnic Committee, Project Graduation booth wrap committee, and serving as the President of the Chamber of Commerce, to name a few. Trish enjoyed playing golf and softball, leisurely reading by her pool in the summertime, traveling to LBI and abroad, and most of all, spending time with her family and loved ones.
Trish is survived by her loving husband of 29 years, Michael; her loving children Casey Phelan (Christine), Corey Watson (Ryan), Kevin Duffy (Bianca), and Tim Duffy; adoring grandchildren Devon, Tyler, Ford, Keegan, Rhett, and Cody. Trish also leaves behind her siblings Bobby Keogh, Tommy Keogh, Maddy Keogh and Liz Keogh; her brother-in-law Joe Duffy (Carol), sister-in-law Patty Duffy; nieces and nephews Brian Keogh (Melissa), Ryan Duffy (Khine), Katie Ritter (Rob), Liz Duffy (Josh), and her great-nephew, Blake Ritter.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 9, 2018 from 3-9 PM at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, 145 E. Mt. Pleasant Avenue, Livingston. Funeral Mass will be offered on Monday, December 10, 2018, at 10AM, at St. Philomena’s Church, Livingston. Friends and family are asked to meet directly at the Church on Monday. Interment will follow mass at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Livingston Fire Department and the Livingston First Aid Squad.
