Sylvia “Susie” (Silver) Fine, wife of the late Joseph Fine, passed away on Friday, September 12, 2014 at the age of 100 years plus. Sylvia was born in Paterson NJ and lived most of her life in Montclair, NJ before retiring to Lakehurst NJ. In more recent years she resided at Federation Plaza in West Orange, where she was an avid bridge player and active in the JCC of Metro West Senior Center. In the past year she lived in Tamarac, Florida. Susie leaves four daughters Irene Berger (Ira), Harriet Brief (Gene), Debbie Fine and Maxine Fine, 7 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Donations in memory of Susie can be made to the JCC of MetroWest Senior Center 760 Northfield Ave West Orange, NJ 07052. Funeral service will be Monday 9:30am September 15,2014 at Bernheim Apter Kreitzman, 68 Old Short Hills Rd, Livingston, NJ 07039. Interment will follow at Menorah Cemetery, Clifton.
