Stuart was the loving son of Gloria (Posner) and the late Morris Weiss. He was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., on July 9, 1954. He retired after 20 years of teaching culinary arts to students with exceptionalities at Essex County Vocational North 13th Street Center. Stuart loved his job and teaching his students, and the feeling was mutual.He was an avid science fiction fan and an animal enthusiast. Stuart was devoted to his family, loved his four-legged "children," and enjoyed cruising in the Caribbean.
He was the brother of Peppie (Weiss) Perrelli of Branford, Conn., and the uncle of Marissa (Duncan) Perrelli Brown and Anna R. Perrelli of Branford. He is also survived by his girlfriend of 18 years, Kathy Bailey.
