Stewart Leslie Taylor, 81, passed away on June 28, 2018. Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, he lived for many years in South Orange before moving to Roseland 13 years ago. He was a senior partner in Lipsky, Goodkin & Co. CPAs in New York City for over 50 years.
Stewart was the beloved husband of Brenda for 57 years, loving father of William S. Taylor and Fawn Taylor McCauley (Robert James), cherished brother of Francine (Stanley) Rosensweig and Harriet Orlando, devoted grandfather of Alexa, Solomon and Benjamin Taylor and Dylan, Maxwell and Jocelyn McCauley, proud great grandfather of Sage.
A funeral service will be held at 10:15 a.m. on Sunday at Bernheim Apter Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel, 68 Old Short Hills Rd., Livingston, NJ. Burial to follow at Beth David Cemetery, Elmont, NY. Memorial donations may be made in Stewart’s name to the Valerie Fund or the National Coalition for Homeless Veterans.
