Samuel Penn of Livingston, NJ passed away at the age of 89 on June 15, 2015. Following his service as a paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne Division during World War II, he graduated from New York University on the GI Bill and then began his career as an insurance underwriter. A quiet and good natured man, Mr. Penn was a predominant presence in the lives of his family. He is survived by his loving and devoted family – his wife of 61 years, Rochelle (nee Cohen); his son and daughter-in-law, Fred and Donna Penn; his daughter and son-in-law, Elaine and Gary Titunick and by his two adoring granddaughters, Marci and Michelle Titunick. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at 11:00am. The family will be sitting Shiva at the Titunick’s house following burial services through Sunday, June 21, 2015. Donations can be made in his memory to the Livingston First Aid Squad.
