Judge Ronald Irving Parker died on January 4, 2023 in Livingston, NJ. He was 89 years old.
A native of Brooklyn, NY, Judge Parker was a first generation American and the first person in his family to go to college. He is a veteran of the US Army where he was a sergeant in the military police. Judge Parker was a graduate of Brooklyn College, earned his MBA at New York University, and his JD at Seton Hall Law School, which he attended at night for four years while working full time. He was appointed as an Administrative Law Judge in 1980 by then-Governor Brendan Byrne, and served in that position for many years.
Judge Parker was predeceased by his beloved wife, Adrienne Parker. He is survived by his children Sue Parker (Bernard) Gerson, Emmy (Harry) Atlas and Jeff (Nancy) Parker; grandchildren Rabbi Chayim (Chaya Miriam) and Jennie Gerson, Elana and Noah Atlas, and Robbie and Aaron Parker; and great-grandchildren Naomi, Yehuda and Yaeli Gerson.
